Lightyears Pallas pendant lamp

The Lightyears Pallas consists of a diffuser made of acid frosted opal glass as well as a laser-cut metal shade with vertical openings. This outer metal shade is available in the two surfaces white and black. The lamp is painted high-gloss in both versions. Cable and canopy are each in the same colour as the chosen shade. The cable has a length of 600 cm as standard, so the pendant lamp is also suitable for high rooms. If necessary, the cable can be shortened. The light emits into the room through the vertical openings in the shade of the pendant lamp and simultaneously creates a light and shadow play on walls and ceilings. A high-voltage halogen lamp with a maximum output of 200 watts is used as a light source. Founded in 2006 by Fabian Baumann and Sönke Hoof, the Berlin design studio Formfjord created the pendant lamp in the year 2012 . The shape of the lamp was inspired by classical chandeliers.
