Ingo Maurer Knot series of table lamps and floor lamps
The Knot collection includes two table lamps and a floor lamp. The lamps were designed by Maurer and his team. All lamps in this collection have a polyamide lamp body in white knot form. The transparent lamp body serves as a diffuser to emit the light evenly and glare-free into the room. The node is produced by a 3D printing method. High-power LEDs with a power of 14.6 watts at a colour temperature of 3000 Kelvin are available as illuminants. All lamps of this series are equipped with a cord transformer with rotary dimmer. The Knot 1 table light as well as the Knot 3 floor light have a lamp base on which they stand, while the table light 2 is located on the lamp body itself. Therefore, this table light can be positioned differently. The lights series was awarded the German Design Award in the year of 2015.
