The Ingo Maurer Stand Up For Your Light can be switched on and off as well as dimmed with a sensor switch. By briefly touching the tip of the sensor, the floor lamp is switched on or off. For dimming, the sensor tip is touched for a longer time, so the floor lamp can be dimmed infinitely. The wall behind the lamp is illuminated, some of the diffuse light also being emitted upwards. The lamp shade is made of stainless steel and aluminum. Both the lamp base and the lamp socket are made of transparent glass. The distance to the illuminated wall should be at least 30 cm. The lamp has a total height of 190 cm as well as a lamp base with a diameter of 27 cm. It was designed by Bernhard Desssecker, who also created Johnny B Good, Kabakov and the Knüller for Ingo Maurer.
