Keilbach Sixteen Table
[Peter Keilbach]
Opis
The Keilbach Sixteen Table is much more than just a simple side table; it wants to be a piece of architecture reminiscent of the skyline of Manhattan with its enormous buildings and deep street canyons. In addition, the arrangement of the oak wood rods takes place in a strict grid. The table is deliberately kept simple and fits in with any interior. It was awarded the Focus Open Silver 2010 design prize and nominated for the German Design Award 2012.
The side table consists of solid, lacquered oak wood rods combined with a glass top with polished edges. It is 42 cm high with an edge length of 26 cm. Thus the proportions correspond to the ratio phi (1.618), the golden ratio.
